only works if people treat each other well. These guidelines say what we expect from everyone on the platform, and what will get you removed.

Be the person you say you are

  • Use your real first name (or a name you consistently go by).
  • Use a recent photo of you. No logos, no memes, no group shots where we can't tell which one is you.
  • If you're sharing a room, the address you write should be the address you can actually let someone visit.

Be kind, especially when you’re saying no

Most matches don't end in a tenancy — that's fine. Don't ghost dramatically, don't be cruel about preferences. “Not the right fit, good luck” is a complete sentence.

Inclusive by default

is for everyone who's 16+ and looking for a flatmate. Discrimination on protected grounds — race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, immigration status — is not allowed and will lead to removal. Preferences expressed via the explicit, opt-in filters (e.g. women-only homes, LGBTQ+ friendly) are not discrimination — they exist to let people who have safety or comfort reasons find each other.

No creeping, no harassment

Don't pursue someone who isn't reciprocating. One polite follow-up is fine; ten is harassment. Sexually explicit messages or unsolicited intimate photos will get you banned on the first report.

No scams, no fakes

  • Don't list rooms that don't exist, or rooms you don't have the right to share.
  • Don't ask for money or a deposit before the other person has seen the place. is not a payment platform.
  • Don't pretend to be a verified landlord or an agency if you aren't.

Chat on <Brand /> until you trust someone

There's no need to swap phone numbers, emails or social handles to figure out if it's a fit — keep the conversation on . Whatever you decide, don't share your address, bank details, or government ID with someone you've only just matched with.

Reporting and enforcement

You can report a user, a listing, a photo, or a message from inside the app. We review reports and take action — from a private warning, to temporary suspension, to permanent ban. Severe cases (threats, child safety, illegal activity) are escalated to authorities and result in immediate ban without warning.
